I have been telling myself stories for as long as I can remember. The next logical step was to start writing them down. I’ve spent the last two decades honing my craft and refining my writing skills. Ten short stories have been published in six different genres. The horror story Making of a Monster won 2005 story of the year at SNM Horror Magazine, while Chi Pisa La Chike: An Irishman’s Promise, found in Touch My Tears: Tails from the Trail of Tears, edited by Sarah Sawyer, holds the distinction of being a part of a permanent collection held in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.
I also worked as an Acquisition Editor for 4RV Publishing, where many stories came across my desk, allowing me to help fellow writers hone their work into cherished children’s stories.
I have served as a contest judge and content presenter at writing conferences and with smaller writing groups. This mother, crafter, and author loves curling up in a comfy chair with her dog and a good book or a skein of yarn and a crochet hook.
